- 50 British pounds£50
- Eastney Beach, Southsea
If you are new to kitesurfing this is a great way to get started. The ability to assess conditions, handle, set up and fly a full sized kitesurfing kite is a critical first stage to access this amazing sport. This is a land based course - you will not need to get into the sea at this stage so the course is very accessible. We will teach you: - how to assess kitesurfing locations, sea and weather conditions - how to set up and handle your kite on land - how the safety systems operate and when to use them - how to fly the kite - how to launch and land the kite both as the pilot and as a helper This is a very hands on course and you will be doing all of these things yourself during the course (guided by our Head Instructor). This is a group course with up to 6 participants.
You may cancel your lesson up to 3 weeks before the lesson date. If you need to cancel or amend your lesson later than this, we will endeavour to find an alternative date to suit you. If that is not possible, you will need to pay for your lesson unless we are able to rebook your time slot to another person. We may need to postpone your lesson due to weather conditions.. We will always endeavour to find another convenient time for you (and we are very flexible) but we do not offer refunds for weather related cancellations.
